Exclusive: Whole Foods signs as anchor tenant at long-paused downtown Sunnyvale center

Whole Foods has signed a 52,000-square-foot lease in downtown Sunnyvale that would make it an anchor tenant in the 36-acre development formerly known as the Sunnyvale Town Center.

STC Ventures announced the deal Thursday. The joint venture is made up of affiliates from Hunter Storm, Sares Regis Group of Northern California and other institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
